Irene Beeman, 85 died Monday, April 17, 2000 at the Austin Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 7, 1914 in Austin Township, to Bert and Kathryn (Kempfert) Bump.
She lived near London and graduated from Austin High School. She attended nursing school and had worked at the state hospital in St. Peter until she married Forest Lynn Beeman on Dec. 21, 1932 in Owatonna. Together they made their home in Austin where Irene was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed baking, doing word puzzles, embroidering, crocheting, knitting, and making afghans. She liked gardening and all types of flowers. She loved her family and will be sadly missed.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law Kathryn (Kitty) Cardel, Austin, Adalia (Babe) and Harold Silbaugh, Lyle, Susan Chase, Wausaw, Wis.; sons and daughter-in-law Charles Beeman, Kissimmee, Fla.; Ronald and Josie Beeman, England; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother and sister-in-law Claude and Lucille Bump, Austin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Forest Lynn Beeman, two brothers.

Soloist will be Danelle Chase
Casket bearers will be Scott Cardel, Greg Bell, Eric Cardel, Buford Chase, Robert Silbaugh, Adrian Strouf
Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday April 25, 2000 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with the Rev. James I. Mikkelson officiating.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery
There will be no visitation or reviewal.
