Evelyn Wilder Bullock, 78, died October 16, 2006, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation is Wednesday, October 18, 2006, at 9 AM at Lakewood Funeral Home. Graveside services are 11 AM Wednesday in the Lakewood Memorial Park. Lakewood Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Evelyn was a renowned English teacher at Jackson Prep for many years until her retirement. Her students knew her as Mrs. Wilder Kennington who emphasized excellence.
She enjoyed spending time and doing many activities with her friends at St. Catherines Village. Evelyn was a member at Highland Colony Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her daughters Lynn Hilson (Casey) and Candis Jolly (Mark), her three grandchildren Brian, Daniel, and Amanda and one great grandchild Josie.
