Mrs. Doris Bullard Brown, age 98, of Gainesville, formerly of Barnesville passed away on Tuesday, July 05, 2011 in a Lawrenceville Healthcare Facility. Mrs. Brown was born in Pike County to the late Mr. Charles Bullard and to the late Mrs. Nellie Creamer Bullard. She was the owner and operator of the Tampa's Café in Barnesville. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her late Husband, Mr. Amos "Tampa" Brown, by a Son, Mr. Charles Brown, and by a Daughter, Mrs. Sandra Brown King.
Survivors include a Son – Robert Brown of Barnesville ; a Daughter – Virginia Brown Proctor of Gainesville ; 11 Grandchildren ; & Numerous Great Grandchildren.
A Graveside Service for Mrs. Doris Brown will be conducted on Friday, July 08, 2011 at 10:30 AM in Greenwood Cemetery with the Rev. Rodney Allen officiating.
