Letha was born in Napa, California to Merle and Lahoma RItter on November 27, 1946. She went to high school in Rio Dell, California and graduated in 1963. She married Thomas E. Buffum and had two children, Thomas (Tommy) Jr. and Kamberlyn (Kammie). At her passing on December 4, 2013, she lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was incredibly creative and loved sewing, crafting, board games, watching movies, her dog Murphy, and spending time with friends and family.


Letha is preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Lahoma. She is survived by her sister, Trina (Ritter) Moore; son, Thomas E. Buffum, Jr.; daughter, Kamberlyn Kristeen Sawyer, and two grandchildren, Jacob and Bailey Sawyer.


Although Letha lived with overwhelming illness and disease, she never allowed her pain to change her positive attitude and outlook on life. Please remember her as she would want to be remembered as the vibrant and beautiful mom, sister, Mimi, and friend that she was.
