Funeral services for Lucille BOYD, 90, Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Monroe Lowrimore officiating. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery , under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. Boyd was born March 31, 1910, in Muldrow, to Alex C. BUFFINGTON and Stella Mae (RUSSELL) BUFFINGTON. She died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, in Sallisaw. She married Joseph Monroe BOYD in 1938 in Muldrow. He preceded her in death Jan. 3, 1959, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one daughter, Norma; two sons, Dale and Bobby; three stepsons, Marcus, Harold and Gene; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one sister, Juanita. Mrs. BOYD was also preceded in death by one son, R.C. BOYD in 1997; and one sister, Alice TABOR.
