ROSSVILLE, GA - Katherine L. "Kathy" Baldwin, 80, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2012.
Kathy was a longtime resident of Rossville and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
She retired from the U.S. Postal Service following 25 years of service and was an avid sports fan, with favorites, the Atlanta Braves and Tennessee Vols.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Buff, mother, Opal Payne, and brother, Thomas Buff.
Survivors include her sons, Eddie Baldwin, Ricky Fouts and Ronnie Fouts; daughters, Sandra Green, Terry Dalrymple, Dianne Shrum, Becky Dale and Patty Bradley; sister, Connie Dedmon; thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 10, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Joe Dodd officiating.
Burial will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends today from 4 - 8 p.m. and Monday from noon until the service hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville, GA.
