Died - Rev. A. G. R. Buetow, 77, on Aug. 9, 1923 at Newkirk, OK. Albert Gottleb Reinhard Buetow was born Nov. 1, 1845 at Karkow, Pommerania, Germany. He was the son of Wm Buetow, a public school teacher. At the age of 22 he emigrated to the USA. In 1867 he studied for the ministry at Watertown, WI. On April 13, 1874 he married Maria Margaretha Heller. They had 4 boys and two girls. The eldest daughter, Mary, died in 1881 at the age of 4. In 1882 Martha, age 2, died. In 1883 the eldest son died at the age of 8. His wife died 4 years ago. Three sons survive: William, of Orlando, OK; Edward and Paul of Newkirk, OK.
