Theodore, 66, of Grand Ledge, peacefully passed away Wednesday, following a brief, courageous battle with cancer. He was the son of Theodore
(Lester) and Vera (West) Buehler.
Ted was a retired electrician of IBEW 665 and a lifelong Grand Ledge farmer who raised Black Angus cattle and cherished his Allis-Chalmers tractors.
Prior to joining the IBEW,he also enjoyed a sucessful career with Newmann Communications and City Animation. In addition to his devoted love for his family, an extensive network of friends, neighbors and co-workers will always remember Ted for his selfless generosity in lending a hand whenever needed, amazing woodworking craftsmanship, fun-filled storytelling, gentle teasing and the twinkle in his eye and mischievous smile he had whenever he was pulling someone's leg.
He will be greatly missed and he is survived by his daughter Debra J. (Richard) Auge-Pochert of Grand Ledge; son Theodore M. (Jennifer) Buehler of Mesa, AZ; fiance' Sue Deer-Hall of Grand Ledge; 5 grand children (Aaron, Ethan, Lauren, Luke and Drew), 2 step-grandchildren (Conner and Alejandra); mother-in-law Shirley Ellsworth of Lansing; sisters-in-law Shirley (Duane) Hall of Mason and Marcia (Larry) Hicks of Florida.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of over 40 years, Pamela, parents and sister Marilyn Buehler.
Memorial serice was held on Saturday January 21, at Oneida Gospel Church, Grand Ledge.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Eaton Community Hospice or Oneida Gospel Church.
