|Birth: ||Aug. 23, 1865, Germany|
|Death: ||Apr. 24, 1948|
She was born in Langenwinkel, Ortenaukreis, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany.
Wife of the Rev. Frederick W. Buehler; married 1892.
They had two children:
Frederick William Buehler, Jr., WWII, 1895 – 1976 m. Herta (no children)
Helen F./B. Buehler, 1896 – 1930, never married
Stephanie's sister "Frizi" married Reverened Jacob Hetzel in upper Michigan. It was a "church arranged marriage", so the story goes she wanted to leave Germany for a new country and marry a minister, as well*. And, she did.
Would love to hear more stories of our family and this couple's church!

"Great grandpa Hetzel (Jacob), wrote to Frieda's parents asking for one of their 2 daughters to marry. I have not heard what you said that she wanted to leave Germany and marry a minister. You can clarify with mom of what she remembers. I believe Aunt Frieda said that Jacob was an eligible bachelor in Petoskey but wanted to marry one of the Edelmayer's girls. I believe he knew the family from St Chrishona or as a shoemaker but ask mom. Frieda Edelmayer's father was a professor of music and there are huge portraits in New Buffalo of he and his wife." LLJ
