North Logan, Utah: Scott Gibbs Budge, 73, died on February 10, 2004 at his home in North Logan. He was born December 18, 1930 in Logan, Utah the son of Dr. Scott Merrill and Margaret Rozella Gibbs Budge.

He married Sonja Nielsen in September 1959. She died on August 3, 1996. He married Barbara Jean Tucker Stiver on November 20, 1999. He attended the Logan schools and played sports and was on the track team. He graduated from USU and was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and graduated from UCLA Dental School as a prosthetist technician. He was a Lt. in the US Army Air Corp and served in Germany for two years as a pilot. He was a member of the LDS Church.

He loved sailing and was awarded several silver cups that he won racing. He was an avid skier, and loved hunting and fishing. He loved the mountains and Cache Valley, enjoyed motorcycling and snowmobiling. He was an avid golfer and had two holes in one at the Logan Golf Course.

He owned the Budge Crown and Bridge laboratory in Logan for 43 years.

The family remembers most of Scott is his kindness, generosity and thoughtfulness towards others. He faced life with courage and determination.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara, North Logan; two stepsons, Scott D. Stiver, Ft. Worth, Texas and Donald F. Stiver, Haslet, Texas; two sisters, Phyllis �Fee� (Lyle) Holmgren, Smithfield, Utah and Barbara Ann (Richard) Howell, River Heights, Utah. He was preceded in death by his two children, Craig and Michelle Budge.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the Logan City Cemetery, 1200 East 1000 North. Funeral Directors, Allen-Cranney Mortuary, North Logan
