Funeral services for Imogene Best, 82, of Keyes Road, Crossville, who passed away July 11, 1998, were held July 12 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Madisonville, TN.
She was born Dec. 11, 1915 in Monroe County, TN, the daughter of Worth and Carrie Moree. Mrs. Best was a factory worker.
Survivors include her daughters, Sue Buckner Wattenbarger of Crossville and Amanda Buckner Barnes of Weston, CT; son, Eugene Best of Meridian, MS; brothers, Nova Moree of Georgia, Rankin Moree, Ferd Moree and John Moree all of Sweetwater, Raymond Moree of Tellico Plains, TN; sisters, Ruby Cagle of Madisonville and Bobbie Bradley of Sweetwater; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother; her brother, Hubert Moree; and her husbands, Kermit Ott Buckner and Ralph Best.
Pallbearers were Jeff Wattenbarger, Mark Wattenbarger, Russell Wattenbarger, Eli Moree, Shawn Thompson and Greg Richesin. Rodney Rector officiated.
