OAKLAND - Suzanne Charlotte (Cash) Buckler, age 72 of Oakland, IL died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Charleston Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. Suzanne was born January 22, 1940 in Oakland, IL to Howard and Sophie Elaine (Horvath) Cash. She married William Thompson Buckler on December 6, 1959 in Charleston, IL. She lived in Oakland most her life, was previously employed at Littlefuse in Arcola and was a member of the Oakland United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting and collecting chicken and rooster knick knacks. She loved her cat and especially loved her family dearly. She is survived by two sons: Alan (Cindy) Buckler of Oakland, IL and Jeff Buckler of Oakland, IL; a step daughter: Carol (Mike) Sehlke of Spring, TX; two brothers: Robert Cash of Oakland, IL and James Cash of Paris, IL; one sister: Delores Lutz of Melbourne, FL; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded by death by her parents, her husband, one brother and one sister. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Krabel Funeral Home in Oakland, IL. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
