LOWELL -- Dorothy L. (Buckle) Amico, 74, a Lowell resident who was a member of the St. Joseph Lithuanian Church for many years, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 7, at Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph C. Amico Sr., who died in November 1995.
She was born in Lowell on March 18, 1927, a daughter of the late John J. and the late Mary Etta (Early) Buckle. She attended Lowell schools and Lowell High School.
Mrs. Amico is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy A. Milinazzo and her husband, Michael, and Nancy M. Barry and her husband, George, all of Lowell; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph C. Amico Jr. and his wife, Jill, of Dunstable; three grandchildren, Laurie (Milinazzo) Carney and her husband, Sean P., of Dracut, Michael J. Milinazzo and his finance, Kerry Stewart, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Corey Amico of Dunstable; three great-grandchildren, Kerrin E. Carney, Shaila A. Carney and Patrick J. Carney, all of Dracut; three sisters-in-law, Rose Bordeleau, Florence Vadala and Eileen Buckle of Lowell, many nieces and nephews; and a close friend, Madeline Milinazzo of Lowell.
She also was the sister of the late Eva Dziegiel, Alice Devaney, Irene Murphy, Mayetta Perry, Walter Early and Henry Buckle, and sister-in-law of the late Charles Amico and Michael Amico.
