Mrs. Florence Buckbee, 86, Liberal Kansas, a former Rockford resident, died Wednesday, Sept 20, 1961, in Epworth Hospital, Liberal, Kan. Born Dec. 27, 1874, in Wauwatosa, Wis., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fiske H. Day. Married to John T. Buckbee, former Illinois Congressman from the old 123rd District, which included Winnebago County. Survivors include; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Riggs, Liberal, Kan., with whom she had lived; four grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Mr. Buckbee died April 23, 1936.
