GEORGIA HOGELAND

Georgia Lorene Hogeland, daughter of Jim and Ina Lane Buck, was born, October 12, 1923 in Leachville, Arkansas. She departed this life, Monday, October 13, 2014, in Ozark Riverview Manor, Ozark, Missouri the day after her ninety-first birthday.

On October 12, 1941 in Cardwell, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Eldon Hogeland and to this union one son was born. Together they shared many happy years of marriage.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents and a brother, Graydon Buck.

Survivors include her son, Ronald Hogeland and wife Vickie of Saddlebrook, Missouri; five grandchildren, Cheryl Riegerix of Osage Beach, Missouri, Ryan Hogeland and wife Heather of Linn Creek, Missouri, Sara Weber and husband Courtney of Camdenton, Missouri, Kerry Daniels and wife Alicia of Osage Beach, Missouri and Mark Daniels of Linn Creek, Missouri; seven great-grandchildren; her siblings, Loretta Moore and husband Don of Houston, Texas, Bob Buck and wife Bea of Inverness, Florida, Sam Buck and wife Shirley of O'Fallon, Missouri and Barbara Suber and husband Steve of Monette, Arkansas and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Georgia was raised in Leachville, Arkansas. She worked as a budget analyst for McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft Company for twenty-seven years.

Georgia made a profession of faith and was a member of Walk On The Water Faith Church in Osage Beach. She was always ready to share the good news of the gospel with anyone who would listen. She was a winner of souls, encourager and a friend to many.

In her spare time she enjoyed cooking and Bible studies. Most of all, she enjoyed time spent with family and friends.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday October 17, 2014 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Allee Memorial Gardens, Camdenton. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
