OBITUARY
---Katherine Buck was born August 24, 1907 in Wardner, Idaho, and passed away Dec. 22, 1932 at her home in Ava, Mo., after a few days illness of pnemonia, says the Ava, Mo. paper.
---She was united in marriage to O. A. Atteberry May 2, 1936 at Kirksville, Mo. To this union were born two sons, one died at birth, March 9, 1927, and John Francis who is now three years of age.
---Beside her husband and small son she leaves her father, F. F. Buck formerly of LaCrosse, Mo., who had been making his home in Ava this winter and one sister, Mrs. Emma Ruth Carpenter and husband of near LaPlata. Two aunts, Mrs. Emma R. Bonham of Moscow, Idaho, and Mrs. Odessa Bonham of Spokane, Wash., and one uncle, J. P Wright of East St. Louis, Ill. Her mother, one brother and two sisters having passed before. Mr. Atteberry's sister, Mrs. H. L. Osborne and Mr. Osborne of Ava, and their daughger, Mrs. W. C. Gustin and family of Pleasant Hill, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Atteberry of LaCrosse, Mr. and Mrs. Carpenter where the only out of town relatives who were able to attend the funeral.
---The deceased lived a pure Christian life, loving her family and friends, always kind and thoughful of others. She loved her home and her chief aim was always to make things pleasant and comfortable and with all beautiful. She was indeed a wonderful Christian character leaving many loving memories among her host of friends.
---She was not a member of any local church. She, with her mother united with the Methodist church in early girlhood. The small country church was later disorganized. She had expressed a desire to join some church here but had not done so, but she lived steadfast in the faith of her Savior.
---The death angel passed over our home, bearing on his bosom our beloved one to the land of eternal sunshine. She has joined her mother and small brother and sisters and her infant son where there will be no more sorrow of suffering. Katherine is at rest.
