Age 91, of Warsaw, died November 9, 2014 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. She was born August 17, 1923 in Warsaw, daughter of the late Rollin and Isabelle Foote Buck. Avis was a graduate of Warsaw High School and was employed in earlier years as a teller for Wyoming County Bank. She also worked as a secretary and then a researcher for the Wyoming County Abtract Company in Warsaw for twenty-five years prior to her retirement. Avis was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Warsaw and was a long time member of the Silver Lake Golf Club. She was an accomplished seamstress and cook and she enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Above all else Avis was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband, Alton Donald Munger who died in 1996 and by her daughter, Ann Vigneri. Surviving are her son, James (Debra) Munger of Warsaw; her grandchildren, Michael McGuire, Jennifer (Mark) Curtis, Trisha (Michael) Lembke, Shawn (Angie) Vigneri; her great grandchildren, Shay and Brionna Curtis, Alexsa and Jacob Gonzales, Brendan and Hanna Lembke, Nate, Carter and Lindsey Vigneri; her niece, Denise (Donald) Duthe of LeRoy; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Donald Buck.
