"Mrs. Ella Jane Bresler [1955], 77, widow of Charles Bresler, died at her home on Rural Route 1 Bloomdale, Monday, April 18, 1955, 11 a.m. after a six month illness.
She was born in Perry township, Wood County, October 16, 1877, the daughter of John H. and Mary Jane (Stearns) Bucher, and was married to Mr, Bresler June 16, 1898. Her husband died January 15, 1948.
Surviving are a son, Herman Bresler, Bloomdale; four daughters Mrs. Ethel Stoudinger, Mrs Ida Elarton and Mrs. Helen Lee, all of Fostoria, and Mrs. Doris Bringman, Bloomdale; 14 grandchildren including two grandsons serving overseas in the armed forces, and two great-grandchildren. A sister and a brother preceded her in death.
Mrs. Bresler was a member of the WSCS and the West Millgrove Methodist Church, where services were held, Wednesday, 2 p.m. Burial was in the West Millgrove cemetery under direction of the Harrold Funeral Home."
