BOEHM - Former Columbus resident Mrs. Fred (Wilhelmina) Boehm of Minneapolis died this morning. Funeral services and interment to be in Columbus, are being arranged by Gass-Haney Funeral Home.
BOEHM - Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Wilhelmina Boehm will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Grace Episcopal Church in Columbus with the Rev. Robert Ahlenius officiating. Mrs. Boehm, a former resident of Columbus, died in the Schweizer Nursing Home in Minneapolis, Minn. following two years of illness.
Friends may pay their respect from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Gass-Haney Funeral Home.
She was born March 17, 1890 in Columbus, the daughter of William and Catherine Kumpf Bucher, attended Columbus High School and the University of Nebraska. She was married to Fred J. Boehm July 14, 1913 in Columbus, living in Grand Island several years before moving to Columbus. She took up residence in Edina, Minn., five years ago.
She was a member of the Platte County Pioneers, Queen of Clubs, Delta Gamma Sorority, and the Grace Episcopal Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Camden F. Winslow of Edina, Minn., Mrs. Laurence A. Kusek of Park Ridge, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. George O'Brien of Port Angeles, Wash, and three grandchidren.
Preceding her in death were her husband in 1961, three sisters, Mrs. Myron L. Gray, Mrs. Albert Becker, Mrs. Keith Perkins; four sisters and a brother in infancy.
