Mrs. Eda A. BUCHER died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin OWEN, in Highland township, this county, March 13, 1893, and was buried in the Bucher family burying ground Tuesday, March 14. Her maiden name was Eda A. WINKLER. She was born in Virginia, April 19, 1812. First moved to North Carolina, then to Ohio, where she was married to John BUCHER. Mrs. Bucher leaves five children to mourn the loss of a good mother; three sons, Jacob, John and Andrew, of Highland township; Mrs. E. SHEETS, of Terre Haute, and Mrs. Benjamin OWEN, of Highland. She was a member of the M. P. Church and had lived a Christian life for lo! These many years. The News extends condolence to her many friends.
