Lucile Bryant was born on May 30, 1913 in Gervais, Oregon to Miles and Lovena Adamson. She moved as a young girl to Woodland, Washington and resided in the Woodland area the remainder of her life. She graduated from Woodland High in Woodland, washington and Emanuel Hospital School of Nursing in Portland, Oregon.

She married H. Jean Bryant in 1936. After his death in 1964 she worked until her retirement as a RN at SW Washington Hospital in Vancouver, Washington.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing, travel, and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Woodland Presbyterian Church in Woodland, Washington.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jean; and son-in-law, Frank Marvin.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Marvin, Ellensburg and Joan (Sam) Kysar, Woodland; grandchildren, Crystal (James) Dunlap, Yakima, Jean (Melissa) Kysar, Jill (James) Koistinen, Karen (Nick) Massie, Paul (Kara) Kysar, Annette (Anthony) Bastian of Woodland; and 24 great-grandchildren.

A viewing was held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Chapel, Vancouver, Washington, on Friday, May 17, 2013 and Saturday, May 18, 2013 with a graveside service immediately following.
