OBITUARY
The Rochester Sentinel

Thursday, December 17, 1959

Mrs. Coral HURD, 71, died Wednesday at 2:25 p.m. in Memorial hospital at South Bend. A resident of Macy most of her life, she had moved to South Bend several years ago.

Born in Fulton county on May 8, 1888, she was the daughter of George and Ada SKINNER BRYANT. She was first married to Meade BLACKBURN, who died in 1919. Her second marriage was to Lueman J. HURD in 1929.

Mrs. Hurd was a member of the Macy Methodist church.
Surviving are the husband, at home; one son, Wayne BLACKBURN, LaPaz; three grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Georgia EDWARDS, Macy.

Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Macy Methodist church with the Rev. Doyle PAVEY officiating, assisted by the Rev. Richard SUMNER. Burial will be in the Plainview cemetery at Macy. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Friday at the Ditmire funeral home in Fulton. The body will lie at the church one hour before services.
