Estell Maudeen Austin, 92, of Burkburnett passed away Monday, April 19, 2021.
The family will receive friends from 12:45 p.m. until 2 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2021 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett, with the funeral service starting at 2 p.m. with Rev. Gary Metz officiating. Interment will follow at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery.
Estell was born on September 21, 1928 in Jacksboro to the late Will and Stella (Jackson) Bryant. She married Pat Austin on February 1, 1947 in Fort Worth, and was a devoted wife to him, and devoted mother to her children. She was also a devoted follower of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and a prayer warrior.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers.
Estell is survived by daughter Karen Richter and husband James of Burkburnett, and son Galen Austin and wife Peggy of Lubbock; grandchildren Bryce Richter and wife Angela of Madison, Wisconsin, Marti Sides and husband Keith of Lubbock, Kami Chauncey and husband Matt of Pflugerville, April Cummings and husband Ian of Portland, Patrick Austin and wife Anessa of Wolfforth, and Melissa Davis and husband Brian of Burkburnett; great-grandchildren Tyler Hallier and husband Nathan of Lubbock, Ryley Sides of Lubbock, Alicia Harris and husband Bryce of Burkburnett, Abigale Cummings of Portland, Julia Davis of Burkburnett, Jacob Cummings of Portland, Jack Claybrook of Pflugerville, and Caleb and Ella Austin of Wolfforth; and great-great grandchild Sarah Harris of Burkburnett.
