Harold R. Bryant, age 81 of Buford, GA passed away on Sun. July 10, 2011. Preceded in death by parents, Hyman Bryant, Sr. and Annie Pruitt Bryant; brothers, W. H. Bryant,Jr., Larry Bryant, and Pickett Bryant; and sister, Charlotte Bryant Humphrey. Survived by wife of 58 years, Norman Davis Bryant; daughter, Lynn Bryant; son, Teddy (Josie) Bryant; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sandra Beard Bryant; nieces and nephews. Born Sept. 28, 1929 in Hall Co., he was a 1948 graduate of Buford High School. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict where he received a Silver Star and was a member of the Buford American Legion Post 127. He was retired from the U. S. Postal Service working in the Doraville Post Office. A member of the the Buford Lions Club and Sherwood Drugstore Coffe Club, he was a member of the First Bpt. Church of Buford where he was a member of the choir. A Celebration of Life Service Wed. at First Bpt. Church with Rev. Wayne Johnson off.
