GASTON--Clint Bryan, 76, passed away at his home in Dover, TN. He was surrounded by his family. Clint will be greatly missed by his family and friends, as he enjoyed spending time with the ones he loved.
He is survived by his long time companion, Rita Blackburn; his children, Clint Bryan, Jr. (Linda), of Muncie, IN, Vicki Bader (Tony), of Gaston, IN, Greg Bryan of Chino Valley, AZ, Vince Bryan of Muncie, IN, Angie Sumner of Prescott Valley, AZ, Kristi Benbow (Kyle) of Muncie, IN, Deewayne Patton (Pam) of New Mexico, and Diane Patton Magish of Indianapolis; Rita's children, Kim Kaemmerer (Gene) of Munster, TX, Gary Blackburn (Krista) of Clarksville, TN; his grandchildren, Jessica, Lacy, Josh, Brian, Clint III, Chantey, Chance, Carlie, Brad, Keith, and Kory; and his great-grandchildren, Aydan, Brazen, Malia, Lyla, and Ava.
Clint was born in Muncie and grew up in the Morningside area. He was a veteran of the Korean War and owned the Razor's Edge Barber Shop in Muncie. He moved to Tennessee in 1974, where he owned numerous, different businesses, including Clarksville Motors. Clint loved his family and friends and was able to spend time with them at his homes in Indiana, Tennessee, and Florida. He also enjoyed sports, boating, fishing, and traveling.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Gant Funeral Home, Gaston Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hawk Cemetery, with military honors by the Veterans of Delaware County. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 p.m. prior to services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Citizens for Kids @ Star Bank, 201 W. Elm St., Gaston, IN 47342.
