Dr. F. E. Brutsman, Traer veterinarian, left here Saturday for Los Angeles, California, for the important purpose of taking unto himself a bride.—Miss Dorothy Munger, former Omaha, Nebraska girl late of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Los Angeles is where the bride's parents now reside and where the wedding was slated to take place sometime this week. Dr. and Mrs. Brutsman will probably return to Traer about the end of next week and wilt make their home in the Byrnes apartment which is located over Dr. Brutsman's office. Dr. Brutsman, whose parents live near Central City, Iowa is a graduate of Iowa State college at Ames, and came to Traer in the late spring of 1940 to serve as assistant to the late Dr. R. C. Byrnes. After Dr. Byrnes' unexpected death a few weeks later he bought out the practice of the latter. He has been very popular and successful here, and has been active in community affairs.

The bride, whose parents moved from Omaha to California last year, also formerly attended Iowa State college, where she was a classmate of Dr. Brutsman. She studied home economics, and since her graduation has been employed by the Omar Bakers in Milwaukee.
