Reva DeFriez Brunson of Provo, Utah passed peacefully from mortality on Monday, Feb. 13th, 2006 with her eternal companion at her side.

She was born November 22, 1918 in Mohrland, Utah to Joseph Dillard and Delilah Foote DeFriez, the 3rd of 10 children. She grew up with many challenges and hard times, always staying true to her benevolent sweet nature. She loved the gospel and shared her testimony with all those around her.

She served an LDS mission to the Texas, Louisiana mission where she met Elder Lynn Brunson, who later became her eternal companion. They were married Dec. 16, 1948 in the Salt Lake Temple which marked the beginning of their 57 years together. She was a devoted wife and mother, always working hard to provide a secure home for her family. She loved music and books and doing projects with her children and grandchildren. She was born in the LDS church and was devoted to it all her life, serving in many callings.
Survived by her husband Lynn, daughter Lynell (Thamer), sons Arlan, Raland, Deron (Portia), and Gaynor, nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Additional survivors include: sister, Pearl DeFriez Smith, and brother Ruben DeFriez (Bonnie).

Funeral Services with special musical presentations will be held Saturday, February 18th at 12:00 p.m. at the Timpview Chapel, Pleasant View 4th Ward, 2900 North 650 East Provo, Utah. A viewing will be held 11:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.
Burial will be at the Timpanogos Cemetery, 1000 N. 400 East, Orem. SereniCare, funeral directors.
