Lucy Bruno Bozzuto, 99, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at James Square Nursing Facility on Monday. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Pompei Church. She retired after 50 years from Learbury's. Lucy was involved for many years as a volunteer at Veterans Hospital as a member of the Onondaga County War Memorial Association and Venditte Post # 1 Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; son, James; brothers, Michael and Frank and sisters, Faye DeStefano and Edith Albino.

Lucy is survived by her son, Frank (Lucille) Ferrara; brother, John (Angela) Bruno; step-daughter, Marguerite; sister-in-law, MaryJane Bruno; three grandchildren, Karen Ferrara, Susan (James) Heron and John (Christine) Ferrara; five great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted, Thursday, 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Pompei / St. Peter Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.

Friends may call before the service Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
