Mrs. J Anderson Dies Unexpectedly Here Saturday

Mrs. Nannie Lee Anderson, 76, died unexpectedly at a hospital here Saturday.

Although she had been in ill health for a long time, her condition did not appear to be serious. She has been removed from her home at 819 W. 7th to a hospital for treatment and was in best of spirits. Then she was stricken suddenly.

Services will be held at Naley Chapel, probably Monday afternoon. Herbert Love, minister of the Benton Avenue Church of Christ, will officiate.

Burial will be in the city cemetery beside the grave of her husband, James Andrew Anderson, who died July 6, 1948. Born Nannie Lee Brumley, the daughter of J.J. Brumley, first postmaster of Brownwood, she was married to Mr. Anderson in 1896. She had made her home here for about a decade.

Survivors include four sons, J.G. Anderson, Big Spring, L.A. Anderson, San Antonio, N.M., A.L. Anderson, Cutback, Mont., and D.A. Anderson, Little Rock, Ark., a daughter, Ruth Mary Anderson, and three grandchildren.
