Ida "Virginia" Brumfield Adams, 81, of Blairs, passed away on December 24, 2015 at Danville Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Adams was born in Pittsylvania County, on July 29, 1934 to Ernest D. Brumfield and Alice Ruth Yates Brumfield. She lived most of her life in Blairs, and worked for Disston Corporation. She was a member of the Chestnut Level Baptist Church. She married to William Vaughan Adams who survives.
She is survived by two daughters, Pat S. Barber(Tommy) and Janice S. Payne(Mike); a grandson; three great grandchildren; a brother, Buddy B. Brumfield; a sister, Margaret Robertson. She was predeceased by eight siblings.
Burial will be at Highland Burial Park.
