Jodee Leah Aschenbrenner, age 47, was born on April 29, 1962 in Everett, Washington. Jodee was kind to all those around her, especially as a mother and grandmother. Jodee battled cancer and came to rest on Friday, June 26, 2009.
Jodee is survived by her beloved mother, Virginia M. Brumbaugh; brother, Terry R. Parker and sister-in-law, Pam Parker; sister, Sherry J. Guzman and brother-in-law, Ponciano (Pete) P. Guzman; sister, Ennette E. Brumbaugh; half-sister, Patrice K. Martin; son, Tim W. Haddox Jr.; daughter, Tiffany S. Aschenbrenner; daughter, Tia M. D'Alexander and son-in-law, William D'Alexander; son, Ty T. Lason and grandchildren, Shaylyn S. Joel, Christopher R. Diedrich, Jersey K. D'Alexander, and Sylis C. D'Alexander; and aunt, Dolores and husband, Danny Stamaris; uncle, Larry and wife, Carol Cepa; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jodee loved spending time with her family and caring for her grandchildren. She has a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Jodee will be missed deeply by her family and friends who loved her very much.
We will be having a viewing from 3:30-4:30pm, on Tues, Jun 30, 2009, at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, 804 State St, in Marysville, WA, and then she will be taken to Pete and Sherry Guzman's home at 1624 Marine Dr. N. E. Tulalip throughout the rest of the evening and night for everyone to celebrate her memory and her return home.
Then from 8:30-9:30am, on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, viewing and we will be honoring her life at her funeral service starting at 10am, in the Marysville 5th Ward Tulalip Building at 5212 7th Avenue N.E. Tulalip, Washington 98271. Following her burial at the Mission Burial Ground, everyone is requested to join the family in a dinner in honoring the family.
Jodee was grateful for the caring and loving kindness of her special friend Lonnie Aschenbrenner who was her love, the father of her children, and who took care of her in her final days.
She was preceded in death by her father, Emmett A. Brumbaugh; grandparents, Martin H. Cepa and Mary Regina Phillips Cepa; and many aunts and uncles. Published in The Herald (Everett) on June 30, 2009
