Carrie L. Aunkst, 50, of Williamsport, passed away Monday, Nov. 1, 2010, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 7, 1960, in Washington, D.C., the daughter of Evelyn M. Stetler Stauffer and the late William J. Brumbaugh.
Carrie enjoyed doing genealogy and scrapbooking.
She is survived by a son, Aaron J. Hamilton; her mother and stepfather, Evelyn M. and Earl L. Stauffer; a brother, David (Barbara) Brumbaugh, all of Williamsport.
Relatives and friends are invited to Carrie's Life Celebration on Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church (New Hope Campus), 1157 Market St., Williamsport. A memorial service will follow at the New Hope Campus at 11 a.m. on Friday with Rev. Richard D. Waters officiating. A private burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
Family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., 66 E. Elizabeth Ave., Suite 502, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
Arrangements are being handled by the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, "A Life Celebration Home," 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.
