North Baltimore—The Funeral for Emma Benedict, 81, of 220 Sprigg St., Apt. 213, will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Smith Crates Funeral Home, North Baltimore, with burial in Maplewood Cemetery.
She died Sunday at Winebrenner Health Care Center, Findlay.
She was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was born May 5, 1910, in Wood County, to John and Ethel (Slaughterbeck) Brumbaugh. She married Charles Benedict Jan. 14, 1926, and he died Jan. 18, 1985.
Surviving are a son, John, Findlay; five daughters, Mrs. Shirley Hailman and Mrs. Mary Lloyd, both of North Baltimore; Mrs. Louise Smith and Mrs. Mabel Witter, both of Findlay; and Mrs. Maxine Shafer, Celina; 30 grandchildren; and 48 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles; a daughter, Jane Hinton; a grandchild; a great-grandchild; three brothers, John, Raymond and Orville; and a sister, Edna Fund.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
