Mrs. Ella J. Brubaker, wife of Dr. John L. Brubaker, 507 Fourth Avenue, Juniata, died at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon, after a painful and lingering illness, having been ill for the past two years.

For the last month of more she had been confined to her bed. Deeased was the daughter of Augustus Jones and was born September 18, 1858, at Lock Haven, where her early life was spent. She was married to Dr. Brubaker March 9, 1881, at Millerstown, Perry County, and had lived in Juniata for the past twelve years.

Deceased was a prominent member of the Juniata Presbyterian church and had hosts of friends in the borough and elsewhere, who will be sorry to hear of her death.

Besides her husband and son, Dr. Agustus J. Brubkaer, of Juniata, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. John Shoemaker and Miss Helen Jones, both of Williamsport.

The funeral will take place Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Services will be conducted at the house by the Presyterian minister, and at their conclusion the interment will be made in Greenwood cemetery.
