Sina L. Ayers, 86, a resident of Columbus Convalescent Center at 2100 Midway for nine years, died there at 12:03 a.m. Sunday.
Mrs. Ayers is survived locally by two nieces, Cleo West of Elizabethtown and Violet Hornback of 632 Seventh, and a sister-in-law, Hazel Ayers of Waymansville.
Funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Doran Chambers at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Inlow and Weaver Funeral Home on Washington Street. Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday. Graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ever Rest Memorial Park in Logansport.
Mrs. Ayers was born April 2, 1900, the daughter of Daniel Brubaker and Adaline Hutchins. She was the widow of Raymond Ayers who died Nov. 25, 1966. They were married March 31, 1921, in Columbus.
Additional survivors include several other nieces and nephews.
