Bernice (Niece) Dick Broyles 80, passed away July 14, 2015. She was born in Pulaski County, KY on Sept. 15, 1934, daughter of the late Johnnie C. and Ida Randolph Dick. She was a charter member of the Northside Missionary Baptist Church in Science Hill, KY. She was a member of Southern Heights Baptist Church in Lexington where she was a member of the choir. She was a member of the "Red Hatters" at the Crossing. She is survived by her husband, James, (Jim) Broyles, to whom she was married for 62 years; two daughters, Beverly Lynn and husband Mike Dotson of Louisville, Deborah Ann and husband David Tune of Lexington; four grandchildren, Stephanie Dotson Zimdahl and husband Sven, Megan Dotson Davis and husband Justin, all of Louisville, and Tara Tune Haley and Christopher David Tune, both of Lexington. She is also survived by four great-grand-children, Chase Steven Zimdahl, Emerson Elizabeth Haley, Hollis Lynn Davis, and Colin David Zimdahl. She was preceded in death by her son, James Steven Broyles. Funeral services will be 11am Friday, July 17, at Southern Heights Baptist Church on Clays Mill Rd. in Lexington with Pastor Boldt officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
