Anna L. Broyles Adams, 79, of Cecil, died Thursday, March 22, 2012, in Washington County Health Center, Chartiers Township. She enjoyed bingo, gardening and canning. She was born June 15, 1932, in Pilt Point, Texas, daughter of the late Jason and Alma Crabtree Broyles. Mrs. Adams was a member of St. Mary Parish, Cecil. She had many hidden talents like drawing, knitting and making crafts. She enjoyed bingo, gardening and canning her produce. Mrs. Adams worked as an assembler for Cool Vent windows, worked at the grill in Kmart and was a waitress at Fatigati's restaurant. Surviving are her husband, Thomas C. "Sonny" Adams of Cecil; two sons, Thomas M. (Deborah) Adams Sr. of Washington and Stephen (Kean) Adams of Bethel Park; five grandchildren, Thomas M. (Gail) Adams Jr. of Washington, Bethany (Justin) Adder of Mt. Lebanon, Patrick Adams of Washington, and Brennen and Blaine Adams, both of Bethel Park; four great-grandchildren, Calab, Micah and Chloe Adams and Julianne Clair Adder; and a brother, Leroy (Rhydoia) Broyles of Pottsboro, Texas. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road (Route 50), Cecil, where parting prayers will be said at 9 a.m. Monday, March 26, followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 9:15 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Cecil, with Father Stan Gregorek officiating.
Interment will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
