Howard "Pete" Brownlow age 93 of Austin born October 14. 1916 passed away November 27, 2009.
Pete was a graduate of Austin High School, a member of Onion Creek Masonic Lodge and Ben Hur Shrine of Austin. He retired from the Austin Police Department after 31 years of service.
Survivors are his nieces Sammie Grumbles; nephews, Donnie Brown, Eddie Robinson, Ben Brown, Fred Brown and Terry Brown; sisters-in-law Lottie Robinson and Elsie Brown and special friends, Nancy, Don, Lauren and Craig Taylor.
Graveside services were held at Masonic cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for children.
