The funeral was Monday in the Megrue-Price Funeral
Home Chapel with the Rev, Craig Rackliffe officiating.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Schaer was born Dec. 1, 1893, on a farm near Humboldt.
She was raised and educated in Humboldt.
She married Edward Schaer; who died Aug. 16, 1956.
Mrs. Schaer was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary,
Nuckolls County World War I Barracks Auxiliary and the
United Presbyterian Church.
She was president of the Ladies' Evergreen Cemetery
Association for 16 years.
Survivors include two sisters,
Zelia Lonneke of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Lila Dahlke,
Humboldt.
