Eddie C. Brown, 62 years of age, of Copper Creek, Kentucky, departed this life on Saturday, August 14th, 2004 at his residence.
Eddie was born on November 25th, 1941 in Brodhead, Kentucky, son of the late Hobert and May Burke Brown. He was of the Baptist faith, a retired Construction truck driver, member of the Mount Vernon VFW, and an United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Eddie was survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Sheryl Brown; six children, Scotty Brown (and wife, Stephanie), Glen Brown, Crystal Brown York (and husband, Red), Summer Nicole Brown, Shannon Frank Brown, and Aaron Lee Green; his grandchildren, Lindsay & Michael York, and Amber & Christina Brown; one great grandchild, Kirsten Fletcher; his sister-Bonnie Holcomb; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hobert Brown and May Brown; and three brothers, David "Doddy" Brown, Teddy Brown, and Vernie Brown.
Visitations were held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 16th, 2004 at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals in Brodhead, Kentucky.
Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 17th, 2004 in the Chapel of the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bros. Randal Adams and Tony Shelton officiating.
Burial followed in the Piney Grove Cemetery.
