OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)

Dean Brown, 37, died suddenly Thursday afternoon at 4:15 o'clock in his home, 158 Elm Street, after suffering a heart attack.

Mr. Brown, a foreman for Gaunt and Sons contractor, was born in Cumberland County, Ill. Dec. 27, 1910 to Frank and Estella Brown. He was married Oct. 19, 1944 to Alice Wheatley of Wabash County. He was a member of the Moose, Legion of the Moose, and Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Survivors include the widow; one daughter by a former marriage, Mrs. Fred Fletcher; the mother, who lives at Elwood; one grandchild and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. F.H. Bargor, Frank E., Mrs. Mae Levine and Fred, all of California, Mrs. H.F. McFarland, Boston, Mass., Mrs. Henry Landrus, Mattoon, Ill. and Mrs. Claude Powell, Elwood.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Wire Funeral Home with the Rev. F.I. Willmert officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home and the Eagles Lodge will hold twilight services Friday evening at 7:30 o'clock in the funeral home.
