Adeline Brown died 2 Feb 1907, of quick consumption, one and a half miles west of Mill Creek, aged 45 years, and was buried in St. John’s Cemetery. She was the daughter of Eli Meisenheimer of Meisenheimer Settlement south of Jonesboro. She was a member of St. John’s German Reformed Church. She left a husband, Columbus Brown, two children from her marriage to Michael Rinehart, five children from her marriage to Brown, three brothers, one sister, Mrs. Franklin Hileman; and one half sister in Johnson County.
