Amelia A. Clark, aged 80, of Fairfield Township, died Monday, December 13, 2004, in the South Jersey Regional Medical Center, Vineland, after an extended illness.

The wife of the late Howard C. Clark, who passed away in 1990, she was born in Towson, Md. and was the daughter of the late Clarence A. and Mary Cox Brown. She had been a resident of Fairton for most oh her life.

A 1941 graduate of Bridgeton High School, Amelia was a member of Fairton United Methodist Church and had formerly sung in the choir. She enjoyed cooking and crocheting.

Survivors include: three sons, Clarence C. Clark, Commercial Township, Raymond H. Clark, Fairfield Township and Stanley D. Clark and his companion, Lisa Smith of Millville; one sister, Hattie M. Nichols, Upper Deerfield Township; one brother, Frederick C. Brown, Fairfield Township; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, John R. Brown.

Her pastor, Rev. Charles Mitchell, will conduct funeral services in the Padgett Funeral Home, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Thursday morning, Dec. 16, at 11:00 O'clock. Burial will be in Fernwood Memorial Park, Hopewell Township. Friends will be received Thursday morning between 10:00 and 11:00 O'clock, prior to the services at the funeral home.
