CORINTH Howard E. Brown, 89, died Saturday, June 27, 1998, at Magnolia Hospital. He was a retired farmer and a member of Biggersville Pentecostal Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Ione Brown.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Russell Hamm and the Rev. James Burcham officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Memorial Park.
Survivors include three daughters, Helen Crabb, Nellie Clark and Mildred Smith, all of Corinth; one son, Mark T. Brown of Rienzi; one sister, Verna Turner of Mantachie; four brothers, Lawson Brown of Mantachie, John Brown of Mooreville, Cecil Brown of Blue Springs and, Earl Brown of Saltillo; 15 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Randall Crabb, Eddie Wayne Clark, Richard Smith, Jimmy Dale Smith, Mike Brown and Lonnie Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Leonard Smith, Thomas Smith, Timothy Brown, Kenneth Brown, Michael Wheeler, David Roseberry, Dwayne Essary and Carroll Smith.
