BROWN, Alice Andrea Alice passed away on June 6, 2014 at Providence St. Joseph Care Center. She will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and deep love for her family. Alice was born in Dell Rapids, South Dakota on July 9, 1924 to parents Edgar and Luella Elliott. She graduated from Dell Rapids High School in 1942. She lived in the Spokane Area for over 54 years. She worked at Sacred Heart Medical Center as a ward secretary and then a cashier in the business office. She retired in 1987. Alice was preceded in death by daughter Rebekah Brown in 1948. She is survived by her brother Rodney (Gloria) Elliott of Bend, Oregon; son Byron (Beverly) Brown of Meridian, Idaho; daughter Deborah (Robert) Eaton; daughter Mary (Anthony) Sparks of Fairfield, WA and 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A family memorial service is planned for July 2014. Alice was buried June 12, 2014 with her daughter Rebekah at a family service at Greenwood Cemetery.
