Services for Lillie Laverne Brown, 56, of Lamesa will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount of Olive Baptist Church with the Revs. Cora Brown officiating and Ira Kelly assisting.
Burial will be in Lamesa Cemetery under the direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa.
She died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2001.
She was born June 22, 1945, in Lamesa, attended school at Blackshear and graduated from Lamesa High School in 1964. She was a member of Mount of Olive Baptist Church, where she was secretary and treasurer.
Survivors include a son, Chauncey Dupree of Waco; two daughters, Stephanie LaTrale and Streisann Nichole, both of Lamesa; a brother, Willie "James" Brown of Andrews; three sisters, Barbara Ann Edwards and Charlene Brown, both of Lamesa, and Merry Lou Askew of San Antonio; three half-brothers, Billy Williams of Lamesa and Bennie and Tony Williams, both of Houston; a half-sister, Lisa Moorer of Midland; and five grandchildren.
