Thomas Neil Brown was born on February 8, 1939 in Lauderdale County, Tennessee, the son of Jessie Neil Brown and Vivian Katherine (Jordan) Brown of Rural Route 5, Ripley, Tennessee.
He was 3 years old when he died of poliomyelitis on November 22, 1942 at Nashville's Vanderbilt University Hospital where he had been for a day. Burial was two days later in Halls Cemetery at Halls, Tennessee.
