Mrs. Bob Brown Died Dec. 25th
Daughter of C.L. Byrd dies Following Prolonged Illness; Funeral Held Monday.
Mrs. Evelyn Byrd Brown, age 33, wife of Bob Brown, died at the Anadarko hospital Sunday, Dec. 25, following a prolonged illness, having been brought to the hospital from her home five miles south of Anadarko Friday in an Anadarko Funeral Home ambulance.
Funeral services were conducted in the chapel at the Anadarko Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Monday by Rev. F. L. Farrington, interment following the Anadarko cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Byrd, two brothers and a sister, all of whom were present at the funeral. The sister is Mrs. Cody Brown.
Mts. Brown was well known in Caddo county, having been reared in the community north of Gracemont, and during her residence in the community south of Anadarko made many friends by her kindness and pleasing personality, who join in extending sympathy to the bereaved.
