East Liverpool -- A Mass of Christian Burial is to be celebrated Tuesday for Mrs. Dolores Brown, 84, of West Fourth Street, who died at 7 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 1991, at home following a lengthy illness. She was born here Nov. 15, 1907, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Lena B. McCullough Allison. Mrs. Brown resided her lifetime here, and was involved in the retail ladies apparel business many years. She also was associated with her husband in the operation of the Potters Adjustment Bureau. She was a member of the St. Aloysius Community Parish and its Altar and Rotary Society. She was active many years in the Court Dunne, Catholic Daughters of America, and was a member of the Rebecca Griscom Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. Her husband, Alexander J. Brown, died July 8, 1984. Survivors include a son, David M. Brown of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Regis L. Allison of California; and four grandchildren. The Rev. Philip Rogers is to be celebrant of the Mass at 10 a.m. at the church. Burial is to be in Columbiana County Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Dawson Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
