A native of Syracuse, Mr. Brown had lived in the Cicero-Clay area for more than 20 years before moving to Alfred 22 years ago. He had been employed by the U. S. Postal Service in Alfred.
A navy veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Brown was a member of
the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7290, North Syracuse, and the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 013, Alfred.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Carol Brown of North Syracuse; five brothers, Robert of Clay, Douglas of Baldwinsville, Roger of Brewerton, Howard of Utica and William of North Syracuse; and two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Vollmer of Collamer and Mrs. Betty Brand of Clay.
